Rob Zerban Posts Strong Fundraising Numbers Against Paul Ryan
Zerban: "I am proud to have outraised all previous challengers against Paul Ryan combined. The $500,000 we raised in 2011 is just a preview of what our campaign will achieve in 2012. My campaign is on a path to victory, and this is just the beginning of the effort to return middle class values to Congress."
KENOSHA – While the official FEC report will be released later this month, Rob Zerban released his fundraising numbers early to the press.
The Rob Zerban campaign has raised over $500,000 in 2011, and raised over $220,000 in the final quarter of 2011. This is almost triple the amount of the previous quarter. This rapid growth underscores increasing interest in the race to unseat the highest ranking Republican that is vulnerable in 2012.
Over 6,300 individual donors have supported the Rob Zerban campaign, more than many campaigns are ever able to achieve. This outpouring of support across Wisconsin and the nation reflects the broad appeal of a progressive alternative to the failed and extreme leadership of Paul Ryan. Rob Zerban has also raised more in individual contributions than all previous challengers to Paul Ryan combined.
Rob Zerban said, "I am proud to have outraised all previous challengers against Paul Ryan combined. The $500,000 we raised in 2011 is just a preview of what our campaign will achieve in 2012. My campaign is on a path to victory, and this is just the beginning of the effort. Paul Ryan's mission to destroy seniors programs, manufacturing jobs, public education, and the middle class, has to be put to an end. I look forward to continuing this fight in 2012.
