Paul Ryan Continues to Run From His Record

Zerban: "Paul Ryan can try to run from the voters of Wisconsin now that new polling shows he is vulnerable, but in 2012, he will not be able to hide behind his special interest money anymore."

KENOSHA – In recent weeks, the Zerban campaign has hit Paul Ryan with a new video and just yesterday, a new poll. The polling showed that Ryan's radical attempts to privatize and downsize Social Security and Medicare are deeply unpopular. Paul Ryan's plan is toxic because it is clear that he has sold out the interests of Wisconsin's middle class.

This most recent attempt to walk back one of the more unpopular parts of his extreme budget comes as no surprise. The Zerban campaign reported last week about Ryan's PAC attempting to whitewash his record.

Rob Zerban said that, "Paul Ryan can try to run from the voters of Wisconsin now that new polling shows he is vulnerable, but in 2012, he will not be able to hide behind his special interest money anymore. People across Wisconsin and this whole nation are coming together behind my campaign because they are tired of being sold down the river by career politicians, and my campaign will continue to gain momentum as we approach the next election."
