Maintaining a Modern Infrastructure

If we want new employment opportunities with good wages, our city’s infrastructure must meet the needs of its citizens and attract businesses to our community.  Every tax dollar we spend must benefit our residents.

Many people want the city to address our roads.  We all recognize our roads suffered in the past with misplaced priorities.  I will work to ensure the infrastructure of our city is given top priority.  We do this in a methodical way, employing best practices to ensure we receive the best value:

  1. Continually assess the conditions of our roads.
  2. Determine the greatest need.
  3. Evaluate the most cost-effective solution -- repairing, rebuilding, or replacing.
  4. Complete the work in a timely manner.

At the same time, a bicycle-friendly and walkable Kenosha would attract residents and visitors.  Let’s invest in biking and walking paths, which are becoming increasingly popular among all demographics.

As we rebuild our physical and organizational infrastructure, we work toward making Kenosha one of the most livable cities in the U.S.
