Conservation
We are a lakeshore community. Our future depends on a healthy Lake Michigan. The protection of the Great Lakes and our immediate environment is of utmost importance. We can take action through water conservation in city, county, and state and recycling initiatives in businesses, private households, and government.

Smart growth
Let's not have a piecemeal approach to future development in our community. Comprehensive long-term planning is required to meet economic, environmental, and recreational needs for future generations.

Safe Communities
Law enforcement personnel must be retained, increased, and provided with adequate resources. At the same time, initiatives toward prevention of crime must be part of community education.

Healthy Initiatives
Every person has the right to a smoke free environment. Let's pass a smoking ban that would allow parents to take their children to any type of public establishment without the worry of second-hand smoke.

Is it healthy for us to ignore the current health crisis? Health care for every child, adult, and elder benefits all of us. Healthy people make for healthy communities.

Economic Development
Kenosha is in the enviable position to be part of the Chicago-Milwaukee corridor. A sound and safe transportation system, including train connections, will attract businesses and professionals alike. The long-term benefits are obvious: increased tax revenues and more opportunities for workers.
