Biography

Family Life - My wife, Cornelia, and I moved to downtown Kenosha in 2005. We live in Harbor Park with our Tibetan Mastiff, Tribu. I was raised in Southern Illinois where my extended family still resides. My wife grew up in Germany and came to the United States to finish her education.

Qualifications - I enjoyed a successful career as an entrepreneur in the food service industry. I started and successfully operated two food service corporations. Having employed over 45 people, I am intimately familiar with the challenges small business owners face. I also know about the struggles of workers who try hard to make ends meet. My strong fiscal discipline comes from managing the bottom line of two successful multi-million-dollar corporations.

Interests - As an avid sailor and U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain, I thoroughly enjoy the time I spend on Lake Michigan. Another life-time passion, having graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, is cooking and entertaining.
